Terms and Conditions

Please read these competition rules carefully. If you complete our survey and therefore enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.

1. To enter the competition you must be:
(a) a South Africa resident and working in/with/for a South Africa based commercial business related to tourism (e.g. accommodation, attraction, café/restaurant, tourism retail, transport, etc).
(d) The owner of a primarily English language website currently in operation with its own domain name and server

2. Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of Kwintessential (whether in the UK, USA or South Africa).

3. No purchase necessary.

4. Only one entry per organisation/company.

5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed due to technical reasons, or which are not received for any reason.

6. The winners will be chosen at random.

7. The closing date is 9am South African time on 17th July 2009.

8. If you win the competition we will notify you by telephone and/or e-mail. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. You can find out who has won the competition by sending us an email after the closing date.

10. By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Kwintessential Ltd or Kwintessential (Africa) may require.

11. The panel of judges for the competition will be comprised of members of both Kwintessential Ltd and Kwintessential (Africa).

12. The prize will not be transferable to another organisation/company.

13. No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

14. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.

15. Kwintessential (Africa) will save entrants’ details for future correspondence, offers and the like unless the entrant informs us to the contrary. However, entrants’ details will not be shared with any other parties.

16. The nature of the prize is as follows:
(a) A maximum of 1,000 words (to be determined by the winners) to be translated from English into any 2 world languages of their choice
(b) Creation of a maximum of 5 website pages based on the current template used by the organisations’ website (only HTML and PHP files can be dealth with; Flash files, graphics and the like will not be included)
(c) Linking of the translated websites via the current English homepage
(d) Submission of the new foreign language pages to the Google search engine

17. Kwintessential (Africa) will not be responsible for any of the following:
(a) writing of copy/text to be used for the website
(b) translation of any errors contained within the source English text
(c) creation or design of brand new website pages
(d) matters concerning the hosting of the website and server

18. Kwintessential (Africa) reserves the right to add a link from the translated pages identifying them as the designers of the website page.
